Balaji Watch Center

Balaji Watch Center is at number 18 in the Ghayal Shopping Centre. This is part of Survey No 374, specifically in the Bhori Ali area off Varachha Road. It’s a very crowded market neighborhood, and finding a place to park nearby is always a bit of a nightmare. The shop itself is tucked away among many others, but our regulars know where to find us. We deal with all kinds of watch problems. Sometimes it’s a broken glass, and other times the internal movement has just quit. We have a lot of plastic bins filled with different sizes of batteries and metal links for bands. The workbench is a bit messy, I’ll admit, but we know where every tool is located. My brother and I run the place most days. We often talk to the other shopkeepers in the Ghayal centre while we wait for customers. The building is a bit older, so sometimes the power flickers, but we have a small backup light for the repair desk. It’s a steady job, and we see a lot of different people from around Varachha. We don't do much advertising; people just walk in because they saw the sign or someone told them we were here. It’s a simple setup, and we prefer it that way. We just keep our heads down and fix what comes across the counter.
