Balaji Tyre House

Our shop, Balaji Tyre House, is over at 41275 Udhna Zankhari. We are right across the road from Sarvottam Restaurant, which is a good landmark if you are looking for us for the first time. The area stays pretty busy with vehicles coming and going all the time. Working with tyres is dirty work, so our hands and clothes are usually covered in black dust and grease by noon. We have stacks of tyres piled up inside and outside the shop. Some are for small cars and others are much bigger for the heavy trucks that pass through this part of Udhna. It gets really hot in the summer working out near the road, but we have a small fan inside to keep us going. We spend our days checking air pressure, fixing punctures, and changing old worn-out rubber for new ones. It is not the kind of job where you stay clean or look polished, but it is important for the drivers who need to get back on the road safely. We don't have a fancy waiting room or anything like that, just a few old plastic chairs where customers sit while we finish up the work on their wheels. Sometimes we go over to the restaurant across the street to grab a quick snack when things quiet down for a little bit. It is a steady, noisy rhythm here every single day we are open.
