We are located in the 21st Century Building on Ring Road, specifically on the 6th floor in rooms 602 and 609. It’s near Udhna Darwaja, which is a landmark most people in Surat recognize pretty easily. Being up on the sixth floor gives us a bit of a view of the city traffic, though we’re usually too busy with the work to look out the window much. The office is a bit spread out across the two rooms. It can get a little hectic when we’re moving between them with files. We’ve got some old wooden desks and a lot of filing cabinets that are getting pretty full. This isn't a high-tech corporate office with glass walls or anything. It’s just a place where we sit and get through the daily grind. We deal with a lot of different people every week. Some are regulars we’ve known for years. The lift in this building can be a bit slow during lunch hours, so we’ve learned to be patient. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed. There’s usually a pot of tea going somewhere. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby. We just focus on the paperwork and making sure things are done right. It’s a lot of hours at the desk, but that’s the nature of what we do here in Surat. We hope to stay here for many more years to come.
