We are based out of Mahuva in Surat, over at the Sai Krupa area. Our specific spot is Block 263-2, covering plots 1 and 2. It’s a bit of a trek from the main Surat city center, but it’s where we have our space. The office is fairly basic. We handle international trade, which means we are often working odd hours to catch people in different time zones. The neighborhood is a mix of small businesses and some residential spots. There’s a tea stall down the road where we usually go when we need a break from the screens. Sometimes the rain in Surat makes the roads a bit muddy around here, so we have to be careful. We have some storage space and a small office area where we do the paperwork. It’s not a fancy glass building, just a practical place to run a business. We focus on getting the shipments sorted and making sure the manifests are correct. Dealing with international stuff can be a headache with all the rules, but we manage. My assistant usually forgets to refill the printer paper, so that’s a constant struggle. We’ve been in Mahuva for a while and know most of the people around. It’s a quiet life for the most part, just working through the daily tasks and trying to keep everything organized.
