Art Dance Classes

Our dance studio is tucked away in the Saraf Kaskar Ind Estate over on S V Road. It’s unit number 402, so you have to come up a few floors to find us. It’s not your typical flashy studio with big glass windows on the street or a fancy neon sign. Instead, we’re right in Udhna where things are a bit more industrial and honest. We have the floor space and some mirrors on the walls, and that's really all we need to get everyone moving. Most of the kids come in right after school is out, and then we have the older groups and adults in the evenings. The music can get quite loud during our sessions, but the neighbors in the industrial estate don't seem to mind much since they are busy with their own work. We teach different styles depending on who shows up and what they are interested in learning that week. It’s a lot of sweating and repeating the same steps over and over until they look okay. The old fan in the corner makes a bit of a clicking sound when it’s on high, but it keeps us cool enough when the room gets crowded. We’ve been at this location for some time now and haven't felt the need to move. You can usually hear the beat of the drums or some Bollywood tracks from the hallway. It’s a simple place. We don't have a big waiting room, just some chairs.
