Arihant Roadlines

Arihant Roadlines is based at G-149 in the Parvat area. This is a place where there is a lot of movement and not much time for sitting around. The office itself is quite basic. We have a few desks, some old filing cabinets, and a lot of logbooks scattered around. Parvat is a hub for transport, so there is always the sound of engines and people shouting directions to drivers. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy brochures for us. It is just a few of us making sure things get loaded and sent off to where they need to go. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy to worry about that. It’s a dusty environment because of all the trucks, but that is just part of the job in roadlines. We don't do things the corporate way with long meetings or fancy presentations. If a driver is late or a load is ready, we just deal with it right then and there. Most of our days are spent on the phone or checking the manifests. We’ve been at G-149 for a good bit of time, so the locals and the regular drivers know the way. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. We just try to keep things moving as best as we can without making too much of a fuss about it. The tea man comes by at ten, which is our only real break.
