Antique Choice

Our shop is tucked away inside the Millennium Market on Ring Road. It is a very crowded place most days of the week. We have a lot of old things piled up on the shelves and in the corners. Some people come in looking for one specific item they remember from their childhood. Others just wander around to see what catches their eye. We have been here since the market was a bit quieter than it is today. Now the traffic out on Ring Road is always loud and you can hear the horns blowing all day long. We try to keep things in order but with antiques it is actually quite hard. Dust settles fast on everything so we spend a lot of time cleaning. It is not a big showroom with bright lights or anything like that. It is more of a place where you have to look closely to find what you want. We enjoy the history of the items we find. Sometimes a piece comes in and we are not even sure where it started its life. We just know it is old and has a story. It is just me and a couple of others here most days. We drink a lot of chai and talk to the neighbors. Customers often sit down and chat for a bit before they buy anything. It feels like a little community. We do not do much advertising at all. People just find us.
