Sahyadri Diesels

Our shop, Sahyadri Diesels, is tucked away on Sachivaay Road near the 66 Kva Road in Amli. Silvassa is a busy place for industry, and we’ve been right in the middle of it at Survey No. 121/11/2. We work on diesel engines, so there is always oil on someone’s hands. It’s a noisy workshop, filled with the sound of wrenches and engines turning over. We don't have a fancy waiting room or air conditioning in the back. It’s just a place where things get fixed. The guys here have been working on engines for a long time. They can usually tell what’s wrong just by listening. We get a lot of trucks and heavy machinery coming through. Some days the yard is full, and we barely have room to move. Other days it’s a bit quieter and we can catch up on cleaning the tools. We don't do much advertising; people mostly hear about us from other drivers or shop owners in the area. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We show up early, stay until the job is done, and head home to our families. The road outside can get pretty bumpy, but that's Silvassa for you. We’ve been at this spot for years and know most of the people on this street. It’s just how we operate. There is always a pot of tea going and some heavy lifting to do. Some jobs take longer than others, but we stay until it is right.
