About Pooja Plywood Hardware – Architect, Interior & Structural Design in Surat
Pooja Plywood Hardware is located at number 17 in the Sai Darshan Complex. Being near the Sain Babba Mandir means we get a lot of people walking by, especially on Thursdays when the temple is crowded. We sell all the basic stuff you’d need for home repairs or building furniture—plywood, hinges, screws, and all that hardware. The shop always has that specific smell of cut wood and metal, which I’ve grown to like over the years. We aren't a big chain store; it’s just a local shop where we know many of the carpenters and contractors who live around here. Sometimes they stop by just to have a glass of water and talk about the latest construction projects in the neighborhood. The complex itself is okay, though the parking can be a bit of a nightmare when it’s busy. We try to keep things organized, but when a big delivery of plywood sheets comes in, the whole place gets a bit blocked up for a few hours. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights. It’s just rows of shelves and stacks of wood. My brother and I run the place, and we do most of the heavy lifting ourselves. It’s a lot of physical work, especially when the weather is humid, but it’s a steady living and we enjoy being part of the local community here.
