Oscar Industries

Oscar Industries is based in the Amli Industrial Estate, specifically at units 11 and 12 in the second phase. If you’ve ever been to Amli, you know it’s just row after row of small factories and workshops. We fit right in there. It’s a loud place with a lot of heavy machinery running throughout the day. We’ve got our space set up for production, and it’s usually pretty cluttered with raw materials and finished goods waiting to be shipped out. We don’t have a lot of office space, just a small corner where we keep the ledgers and the phone. Most of our time is spent on the shop floor making sure the machines are running right and the quality is okay. It’s hot work, especially in the summer, but we’ve got some big fans that help a little. The guys working here have been with us for a while, and we all just know what needs to be done without too much talking. We aren’t into fancy branding or big presentations. If someone wants to see what we make, they usually just come by the estate and walk into the unit. We show them the parts, talk about the price, and that’s about it. It’s a very basic way of doing business, but it has worked for us so far. The industrial estate has its own rhythm, and we are just another part of it, trying to get orders out.
