Silvassa is a busy place for industry, and our spot here in Himalaya Ind Estate is no different. We are right near Noble Polymers, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find us. At Jain Alufoils, we deal with a lot of heavy rolls of aluminum every single day. The floor of the factory is always a bit metallic smelling and the machines are quite loud when they are running at full speed. It gets very hot in Amli, so we try to keep the big doors open for whatever breeze we can get. We are just a bunch of regular guys who know how to handle foil without tearing it. It is trickier than it looks. We do not spend much time on fancy talk; we just focus on the machines and the packing. Sometimes the supply of raw materials gets delayed and we have to scramble to catch up on work. That is just the way it goes in manufacturing. Most of us live nearby, so we know the area well. We have been in this estate for a bit now and we have seen many businesses come and go. We just keep our heads down and keep the production line moving. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down. If you drop by, you will likely see us covered in a bit of dust and working hard.
