Amara Impex Private Limited

Our office is Amara Impex Private Limited, and you can find us in Mahidharpura. Specifically, we are on the second floor, the back side of house number 6/2147 in Limbu Sheri. If you know this part of town, you know how tight the streets are. It’s always crowded with people and scooters, especially in the afternoons when the trading is at its peak. Finding our door can be a bit tricky the first time because it’s tucked away at the back, but once you get up the stairs, it’s a bit quieter. We deal with imports and exports from this small room. We have a couple of desks and a lot of files piled up on the shelves. The light isn’t great in the back, but we have some good lamps and the chai wallah comes by twice a day, which is the highlight of our mornings. We spend most of our time dealing with customs agents and checking on where the goods are currently sitting. It’s a lot of waiting for emails to come through from overseas. The neighborhood is full of other traders, so there is always someone to talk to about the market or the weather. We don’t really have a big sign or anything, just the address. We just focus on getting the items across the borders without too many headaches. It’s simple work, but it keeps us busy from morning till the sun goes down.
