If you’re looking for us, we’re over in Surat at the Keseba Market in Gotalawadi. The office is at Diamond House Appt, units 7, 8, and 9 on the lower ground floor. Being on the lower ground means it stays a bit cooler, which is nice during the Surat summers. This whole area is always buzzing because of the diamond and textile trades. You can hear the sounds of the market from our doorstep—scooters buzzing by and people shouting out orders. We spend our days here dealing with whatever comes across our desks in the market. It’s a tight space, packed with ledgers and people coming in to talk business. We don't have a big corporate structure; it's mostly just Alpesh and the rest of us handling things as they come. There’s always a lot of tea being passed around and plenty of talk about market prices. We’ve been in Gotalawadi for a long time, so we know most of the other shop owners and brokers nearby. It’s not a fancy office with leather chairs, just a place with good light and enough room to work. We don’t really do much in the way of promotion. People know we are here at Diamond House, and they just drop in when they need to. It’s a very traditional way of doing business, based on being present and knowing your trade. That’s just how it goes here in Surat.
