You can find Alkhair Exim Private Limited at Shop No. 6A in the Manmohan Apartment building. We are right near Sarda Circle, which is a very busy part of town. The address is a bit long with all the plot numbers like 556/A/2 and 556/B/3, but once you get to the circle, it’s easy enough to spot the apartment block. We are on the ground floor, so it’s easy to duck in and out for deliveries. The shop is small, mostly filled with desks and a few cabinets for our files. Since we are right on the circle, there is always the sound of horns and people shouting, but you get used to it after a week or two. We do import and export work, mostly focusing on the logistics side. We have a lot of people dropping by to deliver documents or to ask about shipping rates. It’s a very local feel here. We don’t use any big fancy software; we just keep track of everything in our ledgers and on the computer. Most of our neighbors are other small shops—a chemist, a small grocery, that kind of thing. We usually open up around ten in the morning and stay until the work is done. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. We just try to get the orders filled and the goods moved to where they need to go.
