Our place is in the basement, LG-15, of the Dada Bhagwan Complex. We are right on NH 8, which is the main highway, so there’s always a lot of truck noise and dust. Being near Kamrej Char Rasta makes it easy for people to find us, but the traffic at that junction is something else. We work on bioenergy projects, so there is always some equipment or drawings spread out on the tables. It’s not the most glamorous office, being downstairs and all, but it stays a bit cooler during the hot Gujarat summers. We spend a lot of time on our computers and occasionally heading out to sites. The complex has a few other shops and businesses, so it’s a busy little hub. We usually start our mornings with a glass of water and a look at the project list. There is no corporate dress code here; we just wear what’s comfortable for the heat and the work. Sometimes we walk over to the roadside stalls for lunch. It’s a practical location for us since we need to be close to the highway for travel. We don’t do much marketing; mostly it’s just people hearing about us and stopping by the office to talk about their energy setups. It’s just us doing our bit with the technology we have. When the rain gets heavy, we have to watch the entrance, but it’s a good enough spot for what we do.
