The market is always packed with people moving bundles of cloth and trucks loading up. Our place is tucked inside, and it’s usually filled with all kinds of men's clothing. We spend most of our time dealing with the heat and the constant noise of the market. It’s not a quiet place at all. The shop itself is packed from floor to ceiling. We often have to use a ladder just to reach the stuff on the top shelves. We’ve been here in Surat for a good while, so we know how the business works in this area. It’s mostly about keeping the stock moving and making sure we have enough variety. Some days are slow, but usually, it’s a rush. We don’t really have time for fancy decorations or anything. The focus is always on the clothes and getting them ready for whoever walks in. It gets pretty dusty with all the fabric around, so we’re always cleaning something.
