We are over at Salabatpura, right near Ratan Cinema if you’re trying to find us. The office is in Royal Trading Tower, units 417 and 418. Being in Surat, you can imagine how much textile talk happens within these walls. Abhishek Textile Industries has been operating here for a good amount of time now. The market outside is always loud and there’s always someone hauling bundles of cloth past the entrance. Inside our space, we’ve got shelves full of fabric samples and ledgers. It’s a busy place, especially during the peak seasons when everyone wants their orders yesterday. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations, just the essentials to keep the business running. My desk is usually covered in swatches and sticky notes. We spend a lot of time talking to the weavers and the guys at the dyeing units. It’s honest work and it keeps us on our toes. The tower itself is quite old and the stairs can be a bit of a workout if the lift is acting up again. We’ve grown used to the rhythm of the neighborhood, the smell of the chai, and the constant hum of the city. We just handle the textile production and trade side of things from here. It’s a bit cramped when we have a lot of stock, but we manage to make it work. Just a local textile firm doing its thing. We aren't trying to be anything we're not, just keeping the fabric moving.
