Abhay Roadways

Our office is over at A 38-42 in the Saroli Royal Township. Saroli is where most of the big transport stuff happens these days because of all the new space and development. Being in the Royal Township gives us a bit of room to breathe, which is nice compared to the crowded city center. Abhay Roadways is basically a hub for our trucks and a place to manage the daily schedules. We have a large area where we can park and load things up without too much trouble from the neighbors. It is not like a corporate office with carpets and glass walls. It is more of a working yard with some desks inside for the staff. We have some plastic chairs and a big wooden table where we spread out the manifests and the logbooks every morning. The sun beats down on the township in the afternoon, so we mostly stay in the shade of the overhang and drink cold water from the dispenser. We deal with all sorts of cargo, from rolls of textiles to heavy machinery parts. The drivers come in tired from the road and we try to get them sorted out quickly so they can get some rest before the next trip. It is a lot of coordination between the warehouse and the vehicles. You have to know who is where and what truck is free for the next job. We use a lot of handwritten notes because it is just faster.
