Aastha Ortho Hospital & Maternity Home

This hospital is on the first floor of the Swagat Complex in the Parvat Hegagnahalli area. We handle both orthopedic issues and maternity cases, which makes for an interesting mix of people in the waiting room. You have folks with bandages or crutches sitting next to families waiting for a new baby. The building has been around for quite a while and it shows some wear and tear here and there. We have a few rooms for patients to stay in and a small area for check-ups. It’s not a massive medical center with hundreds of beds. It’s just a practical local hospital for the people living nearby. The nurses have been with us for years and they know how to handle the busy mornings. We try to keep the floors clean, but with so many people coming in and out, it’s a constant job. We have our basic equipment for fixing bones and helping mothers with their deliveries. It’s a lot of responsibility and we take it day by day. Sometimes the lift in the complex is a bit slow, so people take the stairs to the first floor. We don't have any big flashy signs. We just have our name on the door. It’s a place where work gets done and we help the local families as best as we can.
