Nirman Industries

Our factory is at number 63 in the Nirman Industrial Estate. It’s situated along A. K. Road in Surat, which is always a hive of activity. We’ve been here for a while, working on the manufacturing side of things. It’s not a quiet place by any means. There’s always the sound of machines running or trucks backing up to the loading dock. We have a small crew that comes in early every morning to get the production lines started. Most of our days are spent checking the equipment and making sure the output is what it needs to be. The heat in Surat can be a bit much in the summers, especially inside an industrial shed, but we’re used to it by now. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything like that. Just a small desk in the corner where we keep the receipts and the logs. It’s 395008 if you’re looking at the zip code. We mostly stick to ourselves and focus on getting the work done. If a machine breaks, we fix it. If an order comes in, we pack it up. It’s straightforward work without any of those big fancy words. The industrial estate is full of people just like us, trying to make a living and keeping the wheels turning. We like being part of the Surat scene because there is always something happening on the road outside.
