Ramangi Book Center

Ramangi Book Center is right at Thana Chowk. We are very close to the Jama Masjid and Hussain Chowk, so there are always plenty of people walking around the area. It is a lively part of the neighborhood, and we like being right in the middle of it. The shop is not very large, but we manage to fit a lot of books inside by stacking them high. Sometimes it feels a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is if you ask. The sound of the prayers from the masjid and the noise from the chowk are just part of our daily routine. We open up early and usually stay late, especially on days when the market is extra busy. We don't have any big corporate rules or anything like that. We just run the place the way we want to. It gets a bit dusty because of all the traffic at Thana Chowk, but we try to keep things as clean as we can. People often stop in while they are on their way to the mosque or just walking through Hussain Chowk. We see a lot of the same faces every week. It is a basic shop for the local community. There is nothing fancy about the way we do things, just honest work and a lot of paper. We are just a small part of the life here at the chowk.
