Kaushalya Enterprises

Kaushalya Enterprises is right at Station Chowk, in Ward No.8. If you have ever been to the railway station here, you have probably passed by our door. It is a very busy spot. There is always someone running to catch a train or arriving with too many bags. We are right in the thick of all that movement every single day. The shop stays open late because the trains do not stop for anyone. We see all kinds of people. Some are just passing through, and others live right here in the neighborhood. Our space is filled with all sorts of items that people might need in a hurry. It is a bit cramped inside, honestly. We have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. I usually have to use a small wooden ladder to reach the top ones when someone asks for something specific. The noise from the station is something you just stop hearing after a while. The whistles and the announcements become like background music to our work. We have a couple of boys who help out with the customers. They are quick on their feet, which you have to be around here. It gets very dusty with all the traffic at the chowk, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the counters. We do not have any big signs or bright lights. Most people know us by now. We just provide what we can and try to be helpful.
