Aryan Bricks

Aryan Bricks is based in Village Jiwachhpur, specifically over in Ward-11. We are situated right near the Durga Mandir, which makes it easy for folks to find us when they’re coming through. Like most brick yards, our life revolves around the seasons. When the festivals come around at the mandir, it’s a nice change of pace, but mostly we are just focused on the mud and the kilns. We make the bricks right here on this land. It’s hard on the hands and the back, but it's what we've always done. My family has been involved in this kind of work for a long time, so it feels natural to be out here in the dirt every day. We don't have a fancy website or a big team for marketing. If people need bricks, they usually just hear about us from a neighbor and show up at the gate. We talk for a bit, look at what we have ready, and settle on a deal. It’s simple. Sometimes the quality of the clay changes a bit, or the fire doesn't get as hot as we want, but we try to make sure the bricks come out looking right. It is a quiet life for the most part, except for the sound of the tractors moving in and out. We’re just local people providing a basic thing that every house needs to stand up straight and last for years.
