Watch Hospital

We are located inside the RDA Building at the Sankar Bhawan Market on Mahtab Road. It is a busy area with plenty of shops around us, but you can find us at Atr-1 Mig-3 if you look for the sign. The shop is filled with various types of watches and wall clocks that need fixing. We deal with digital ones and the old mechanical ones that require a lot of patience. Some days are packed with people coming in from the market with broken springs or cracked glass. We have our desks set up with good lighting so we can see the tiny screws that always seem to roll away. It isn't a corporate office; it is just a workplace where we fix things. The market gets noisy in the afternoons, but we get used to it. We keep a stock of different straps and batteries in the drawers behind the counter. Most of the people who come in are locals who have been living around Mahtab Road for years. They know us and we know them. We don't spend much on decorations because the watches themselves take up all the space. If you walk into the Sankar Bhawan Mkt area, you will see we are just a regular part of the building. We open up early and stay until the market starts to wind down. There is always something to tinker with or a clock that needs winding.
