Utsarg-Weal Foundation

Our foundation, Utsarg-Weal, is located at Khata No. 17, Plot No. 584 in Ramjodi. This is out in the Lathikata area of Rourkela, inside Sundargarh district. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city center, which gives us a lot of peace and quiet to get things done. The plot is fairly large, so there’s some space around the building. We have 770037 as our pin code if you’re sending us anything by post. The office itself is a sturdy building that stands up well to the heavy rains we get in this part of Odisha. Inside, things are pretty functional. We have some wooden cabinets for our files and a few long tables where we can all sit together. There is a small window that looks out onto the fields nearby. We spend our days mostly on local administrative tasks and coordinating with people in the surrounding villages. It’s a very rural setting, so we have to be practical about everything. If the power goes out, we just wait it out or work by the windows. People around Ramjodi know us by name, and we often have someone stopping by on a bicycle to deliver a message or just say hi. We don’t have a big corporate structure. It’s just a small group of us trying to stay useful in our corner of Rourkela, working away on the projects we have going.
