We are located right in the heart of the Industrial Estate in Rourkela. This city is built on steel, so being in the fabrication business feels like the right fit for the area. Our shop is in a typical industrial shed. It’s a big open space with high ceilings to let the heat from the welding torches escape. If you walk inside, you will see sparks flying and hear the loud bang of hammers against heavy plate. We do a lot of fabrication work, so there is always some big structure being welded together in the middle of the floor. It is a gritty, sweaty job, especially when the Odisha humidity kicks in. We don't have any polished boardrooms or leather chairs. Our office is just a small wooden desk in a corner that is partitioned off with some plywood. We spend most of our time out on the shop floor anyway. The Industrial Estate is a busy place with trucks coming in and out at all hours. We have a group of workers who are skilled with their hands and don't mind getting dirty. We take the work as it comes and try to get it done without too much fuss. It is a straightforward business. We are just part of the many shops in Rourkela trying to make a living by building things out of steel, year after year.
