Nikhil Store

Nikhil Store is located in Rajgangpur Town, specifically in Sriram Colony. We are tucked away near Khada Gali, which is a spot most locals know well. It is a neighborhood shop, so we mostly see the families who live on the nearby streets. We sell a bit of everything, from notebooks for the school kids to washing powder and cooking oil. The shop is part of my house, so I am usually around even if the shutters are halfway down. It is a bit dark inside because the alleyway is narrow, but we have enough light to see the stock. I don't use any fancy advertising. People just know we are here. Sometimes the kids come in with a few coins for candy after school, and that keeps the place lively. The shelves are made of wood and they sag a bit under the weight of the heavy flour bags. I spend a lot of time moving boxes around to make space. Rajgangpur is a busy place, but our little corner in Sriram Colony stays pretty calm. We don't have a big staff, usually just me or my brother behind the counter. We take things as they come and try to keep the staples in stock so nobody leaves empty-handed. It is a basic way to make a living, but it works for us and our neighbors like having us nearby. We just keep the shop running day by day without much fuss.
