Modern Engg.Works Rourkela Orissa is our name and we are based in Rourkela, Sundargarh 769012. We’ve been operating in India for quite some time now. Engineering work can be pretty varied, and our workshop is usually full of different parts and pieces of machinery. It’s a loud place most of the time because of the tools we use. Rourkela is an industrial kind of place so we fit right in here. We don’t have a fancy office with air conditioning in every room. It’s more of a practical space where we can get the work done. Our staff are just local people who know how to work with their hands. We don't go in for big mission statements or anything like that. We just take the orders and do the engineering work that is asked of us. Sometimes the work is complicated and takes a lot of thinking, and other times it’s just repetitive. Sundargarh is where we call home and we’ve built up a decent reputation just by being consistent. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to run a good workshop. If you come by, you’ll likely hear the sound of welding or grinding. That’s just the sound of us working. We keep our heads down and focus on the tasks we have for the day. It’s a living and we’re happy to be doing it.
