We are located out at Plot No. 11, right near the NTPC area in Dalli Palli. It’s a bit out of the way if you aren’t used to the industrial sites. The landscape is dominated by the big power project nearby. Our plot is basically where everything happens for us. It’s a lot of open space and heavy equipment most of the time. The weather out here can be tough, either very hot or quite muddy when it rains. We spend our days coordinates things between the site and the office. It’s not a desk job for most of us. We are usually walking around the plot or checking on the machinery. You can see the big chimneys from the NTPC plant from our gate. It’s a landmark for everyone around here. We have a small building for the paperwork and some storage. Most of the time, the noise of the machinery is the background of our day. It’s a hardworking atmosphere. We don't have visitors very often, mostly just delivery trucks and workers. We make sure the gates are locked tight at night. It’s a simple life out here in Dalli Palli. We focus on the tasks at hand and keep things moving. There is always something that needs fixing or moving on the plot. It keeps us busy from dawn till dusk.
