In Rourkela, we are over in Sector 9, specifically at E/193. It’s a solid, quiet neighborhood, very typical for this part of Orissa. The office feels like a part of the community. We have been here long enough that the postman knows exactly where to leave the packages without even looking at the door number. The building itself is an older one, so it has its quirks, like a door that squeaks if you don't pull it just right. Inside, it’s a bit of a maze of desks and filing cabinets. We do a lot of coordination for the industrial and residential projects around here. It’s not the kind of place you’d find in a magazine, but it’s practical and it works for us. We have a small table in the back where we keep the kettle and some tea bags. Most of the guys are out on the field for a good chunk of the day, so the office can feel a bit empty until they all troop back in the late afternoon. Then it becomes a hub of noise and storytelling about what happened at the different sites. We don't use a lot of fancy software for everything; sometimes a handwritten note on a clipboard is still the best way to remember something. It’s a down-to-earth place where we just focus on getting things done for our customers. We stay until the work is finished.
