Our setup is located at Qr. No: C/171 in the Fertilizer Township over in Rourkela. Living and working in a township like this has its own rhythm. Most people here are connected to the industry one way or another. Itd Cementation India Limited is the name on our door, but to the neighbors, we’re just the crew working on the big infrastructure stuff nearby. It’s a quiet enough street most mornings until we start moving equipment. The office is basically a room in the quarters, nothing flashy at all. We have desks piled with blueprints and a few chairs that have seen better days. Rourkela is a tough, industrial town and we fit right in with that vibe. We spend most of our time out on the sites, so the office is mostly for regrouping and catching up on the boring bits of the job. You won’t find any slick brochures here. It’s more about the actual building and the dust on our boots. Sometimes the rain slows things down, but we just wait it out and get back to it. The township has its own rules, and we try to keep things orderly enough so we don’t bother the families living next door. It’s a practical way to run things, being right where the action is. Usually, there is a lot of coffee and loud talk about deadlines and logistics in our small space.
