Hindalco

Down here at B/369 in Nalconagar, things move at their own pace. It’s an industrial area, so there is always some kind of humming noise from the plants nearby. Our office is just a small part of the bigger picture here for Hindalco. We handle the local side of things, mostly paperwork and making sure the staff has what they need. It’s not the most exciting work, but it keeps us busy from morning until evening. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to that yet because there’s always something more urgent to do. We eat our lunch together most days, usually just sharing whatever we brought from home. It's a tight-knit group because Nalconagar isn't that big of a place. Most of us have lived around here for years. We don't really have any fancy marketing people telling us what to say. We just do the work, file the reports, and try to stay out of trouble. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit around and talk until it comes back on. It’s just a normal workplace with people who have been doing this for a long time. We know our jobs and we do them without making a big fuss about it. We’ve been here long enough that we don't need much instruction.
