Hindalco Industries Limited(Birla Copper) is based out of the Irrigation Colony. This is in the Sankara area of Sundargarh, Orissa. Our post office is also Sankara. The pin code here is 770020. It’s a bit of a quiet spot, being an Irrigation Colony. There are a lot of trees and it’s not as noisy as the bigger towns. We handle the Birla Copper work from here. It’s a humble setup, nothing too flashy. We’ve been in this part of Orissa for a while. The colony has its own pace, and we just fit into that. Most of our day is spent at our desks, keeping things moving for the company. It’s a bit of a trek to get here if you’re coming from the main city, but it’s a nice enough drive. We like the peace and quiet of the Sankara area. It helps us focus on what we need to do. Our office is just a regular building in the colony. No big logos or fancy glass doors. Just a place for the team to gather and work. Sundargarh is a nice district, and being in the Irrigation Colony gives us a bit of a different perspective compared to being in a big industrial park. We just do our work and go home like everyone else. The seasons change, it rains a lot during the monsoon, and we just keep the office running through it all. It’s a solid, reliable place for us. We don't need much else besides our computers.
