Ganpati Spices

We operate out of the C/O- Anand Halwaiat premises in Post Visra, over in the Sundargarh district. It is a small space but we make it work for our spice business. The air around here usually smells like turmeric and chili because we are constantly sorting through the sacks. We started this because there was a need for it in our local area, and we have just kept going. The floors are often covered in fine spice dust despite our cleaning, but that is just how it goes in this line of work. We work closely with the folks at Anand Halwaiat and it is a friendly atmosphere most days. We spend a lot of time weighing out the spices into smaller bags and sealing them up by hand. It takes a bit of patience to get the weights right every time. Our equipment isn't the newest, but it works fine for what we need. When the sun hits the front of the shop in the morning, it gets quite bright inside. We have a few wooden benches where we sit to take our lunch breaks and talk about the day. Most of the people who come by are locals we have known for years. We don't bother with much advertising because word of mouth seems to do the trick for us here in Visra. It is a steady life and we are happy to be part of the community.
