We are located at A/99 in Sector-17 over in Rourkela. If you know the Sundargarh district, you know that this is a solid, industrial part of Orissa. Our office for D.R.Buildestate Pvt Ltd is a plain and practical space where we manage our construction jobs. It is mostly just a few of us sitting around a large table, talking about materials, costs, and timelines. The weather in Rourkela can be pretty unpredictable, especially when the monsoon rains start, so we spend a fair amount of time checking the forecast before heading out to any of the sites. The office walls have some old maps pinned up and a few calendars that are probably a bit out of date. We do not spend much time or money on decorating because we are usually busy with the actual work. It gets a little noisy sometimes with the traffic from the nearby sectors, but it is just part of life here. Most of the people working in our office have lived in Rourkela for their whole lives. We know the local shops and where to find a good meal in the afternoon when we need a break. We are not interested in becoming a huge corporation with fancy offices. We just want to do our jobs well and take care of the business here in our hometown. We keep the tools ready and the paperwork as organized as we can manage.
