K.L. Mahajan And Sons is a small family business located at No 195 in Vpo Jaidevi. We are part of the Sundernagar area in Mandi district, and we’ve been here for a long time. My father started this place, and now the rest of us are keeping it running. We don’t do things the way big companies do. We don't have a big office or a fancy website. Most people find us just by asking their neighbors or seeing us when they drive through the village. It’s a quiet place, but we stay busy enough with the stone work. We handle a lot of local materials. The work is physical and we are usually covered in some kind of stone dust by noon. In Sundarnagar, the weather can be a bit unpredictable, so we have to work around the rain. Sometimes the yard gets muddy, but we just keep moving. We know most of the people who come to us. They aren't strangers; they’re people from the community who are building a house or fixing up a shop. We treat them like neighbors because that is what they are. We don't have any big sales pitches. We just show them what we have in the yard and tell them the price. It’s a straightforward way to do business. We’re just a family trying to do a good job and stay active in our village.
