Tribal And Rural Innovation Foundation

We are located in Barbil, Keonjhar, specifically at the Nalda area. Gurudev Singh is the one who keeps things moving around here and keeps us all on track. The Tribal and Rural Innovation Foundation is the name we have on our paperwork. It sounds quite fancy, but really we just look for simple ways to make life a bit easier for folks in the rural areas. Barbil is a busy mining town with lots of trucks, but we are a bit away from all that noise and dust. We spend a lot of our time out in the nearby villages talking to people. We don't spend much time sitting in the office if we can help it. When we are there, it's mostly to write down what we saw or to plan our next trip out. We use simple tools and basic methods. Nothing too high-tech or complicated. Innovation to us just means finding a way to fix a broken water pump or helping a family start a small kitchen garden. It’s practical stuff that matters to people. We’ve seen a lot of changes in the Keonjhar region over the years. Some changes are good, but others not so much. We try to stay focused on the actual people living here. Gurudev has a lot of experience with the local ways and knows everyone. We don't have a big team or a fancy office. Just a few dedicated people doing our best.
