We are over here at Plot No. 283 in the Jiabahal area. It's part of the Kallunga I.D.C. in Sundergarh. Most days it’s pretty loud because of the ferro alloy work. It’s hot too, but that’s just how things go in this kind of place. We’ve been here for a while now. The roads around the industrial estate can get a bit dusty when the trucks go by. Most of the guys working here are from around the district. We keep ourselves busy with the furnaces and moving stuff around the plot. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a lot of metal and hard work. People know us as Shri Mahavir Ferro Alloys. If you’re coming from the main part of Sundergarh, it takes a bit of time to get through the traffic. We usually start early in the morning before the sun gets too high. There is always something to fix or a load to check on. It’s just a regular industrial unit doing its thing every day. Sometimes we sit outside for a break when the weather is okay. We don't have a big corporate team, just the folks who show up and do the job. The yard is usually full of materials. We try to keep things organized but it gets messy sometimes with the production going on. That’s just life in Kallunga I guess. It’s been our spot for years.
