Shreemayee & Sristi Priya is a company we started in Sargipali, which is a quiet corner of Sundargarh. We are based out of Amiya Ranjan Chhura’s place. It’s not a big corporate office; it’s more like a home office where we handle our business affairs. Sargipali is a small village area, so everyone knows who we are and what we are doing. We don't have a big staff, just a few local people who help us out when things get busy. The pace of life here is slower than in the big cities, and we like it that way. We do a mix of things, mostly whatever comes our way that needs doing in the local area. Our desk is usually covered in ledgers and some local newspapers. There isn't a lot of technology here, just the basics to keep things moving. We don't do any big advertising or have a sales team. If someone needs something, they usually just walk over to the house and ask for Amiya. It’s a very personal way of doing business, I suppose. Sometimes we sit outside under the tree to talk about the day’s work because it’s cooler than being inside. We aren't looking to become a giant company. We just want to keep things running smoothly here in Sundargarh and take care of our own people. It’s a simple life.
