JUNAS CONTRACTING PRIVATE LIMITED

JUNAS Contracting is up in Sundargarh. We operate out of Tunguritola Lungei near Vedvyas. The office is actually at Monika Bara’s place. It’s a more rural setting compared to the big cities like Bhubaneswar but there is still plenty of work to do. We handle various contracting jobs. This means we are often traveling around the Sundargarh district to different sites. Vedvyas is a well-known spot because of the river and the temple nearby. Our work is very hands-on. We aren't the type to sit behind a computer all day. We are usually out checking on laborers or measuring things at a new site. The air is a bit cleaner out here but the work is still tough on the body. We use a lot of local help and know most of the families in the area. It is a simple operation without any big corporate layers. If someone needs something built or repaired they just come by the house and talk to us. We have our tools and a basic vehicle to get around the rough roads. Sometimes the monsoon rains slow us down quite a bit but we catch up later in the season. It is a quiet life in Lungei but we stay busy with the contracts that come our way. We just aim to finish what we started and make sure the client is satisfied with the result. That is basically what we do every single day.
