Dream And Green Foundation

Plot No. Y/19 in Civil Township is where we set up the Dream And Green Foundation. Rourkela is a decent place to be, especially this part of the township where there are actual trees and a bit of space to breathe. We’ve been here for a bit now, just trying to do our part with local projects. The office is really just a couple of rooms where we keep our paperwork and some supplies for whatever we are working on that week. It’s not one of those big, shiny offices you see in the city. We have some old chairs and a table that wobbles if you lean on it too hard. People stop by sometimes to ask about what we are doing, and we usually just chat with them over some water. It’s a lot of manual coordination and talking to folks around the neighborhood. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit out on the porch for a bit until it comes back. It isn't a very fast-paced environment, but we keep ourselves occupied. We like the fact that Rourkela 769004 is our base. It feels like home to most of us who work here. We don’t have a big staff, just a handful of people who live nearby and care about the same things we do. It’s just how we run things every day. We don't have a big budget, but we make do with what we have at Plot Y/19.
