Our office is located in Jhirpani, right near Nilasaila College. It’s in the Jagda area of Rourkela. If you know where the college is, we are pretty easy to find. Sundargarh is where we do most of our daily tasks. We focus on how people make a living around here. It’s more about looking into practical ways for folks to keep their jobs or start small things for themselves. We aren't a big corporation or a government office. It's just a small group of us in a regular building. Sometimes we spend the whole day out talking to people in the neighborhood. Jhirpani is a busy spot, especially with the students from the college walking by all the time. We’ve been set up here for some time now. It’s not a polished setup, just some desks and some papers stacked up. We try to figure out what works for the local economy without using all those fancy terms. Research sounds like a big word, but mostly we just look at what’s happening on the ground in Rourkela. We don't use complicated charts. We just want to see how families can stay on their feet. If you’re ever near the college, you might see us. Rourkela is a good place for this kind of work because there’s so much going on with the industries and small shops. We just stay busy with our own bits of data and long conversations with the locals. It keeps us occupied and we feel like we are doing something useful.
