Our shop, L J J Tyres, sits right on 42, Pollachi Main Road. If you know where Perumal Kovil is in Sundarapuram, we are right across from it. It's a busy stretch of road, so there's always something going on. We deal with tires all day long. It's dirty work sometimes, but someone has to do it. We've seen plenty of cars and trucks come and go. Some people stop in because they have a flat, others just need a quick look. We don't have a fancy waiting room or anything like that. Just a place where we get the job done. The heat can be tough in the afternoons, but we keep the doors open. We know most of the regulars who pass through Sundarapuram. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town. We just want to make sure people can get where they’re going. Sometimes the tools get misplaced, but we find them eventually. It’s just how a real shop runs. We've been at this location for a while. Being opposite the temple makes it easy to give directions. If you're driving down Pollachi Main Road, you can't really miss us. We just do our thing and try to keep the wheels turning for everyone who stops by. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. We don't mind the grease and the noise, it's just part of the day here.
