Bharti Marketing Company

Our shop is number 16 in the Aggarsain Market. We are right across from the State Bank of Patiala, which is pretty close to the bus stand in Sangrur. It’s a very busy part of town. There are always people moving about and buses coming and going. Our space at Bharti Marketing Company is filled with whatever we are marketing at the time. We have shelves lined with products and a small counter where we sit. It’s a typical market shop. We don’t have air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that works most of the time. The market is loud, but you get used to it after a while. We’ve been here for years. We know the other shopkeepers and the bank staff across the way. We don't have a big marketing team. It’s just us talking to people and handling the inventory. Sometimes the shop feels a bit cramped when we have a lot of customers. We try to keep things in order but it's hard when things are busy. We open the doors early and don't close until late in the evening. It’s just how things go in Sangrur. We don’t use any fancy sales tactics. People come in, they see what we have, and we talk. It’s a straightforward way to do business. The floor is usually a bit dusty from the street outside, but we sweep it when we can. We just keep things moving.
