Sri Prathiba Degree College

Down here in Sullurpet, specifically in the Aravabhoomi area, we run Sri Prathiba Degree College. The address is D.No.11-2-18, which most locals know just by walking past it. We aren't a massive university campus; it’s more of a local building where students from Nellore district come for their degrees. Most of the people here are just trying to get their qualifications so they can find work in the city or nearby. The classrooms are basic with wooden benches and fans that hum all day. It gets hot in this part of Andhra Pradesh, so we’re used to the heat. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment or a huge library, but we have the books the students need for their exams. The staff handles everything from admissions to cleaning up after the day is done. It’s a small team. You’ll see students hanging out near the entrance during the breaks, talking about their lives or complaining about the exams. Sullurpet is a quiet town for the most part, and we just fit into that rhythm. We don't spend money on big advertisements or billboards. People usually find out about us from their neighbors or siblings who studied here before. It’s just a place for learning and getting through the years until graduation. We keep things simple and try to help the students pass their subjects without making things too complicated for them or for us.
