Chandra Traders

Chandra Traders is found at 1/542, Nvkindriga in Sullurpet, right beside the Gokul Krishna College. Because the college is so close, we get a lot of students coming by throughout the day. The building is more of a warehouse style than a fancy store. We handle a lot of bulk items, so you will see stacks of cartons and bags piled up nearly to the rafters. The roof is made of corrugated sheets, so when it rains, it gets very loud inside and we have to shout to hear each other. We have a small desk near the entrance where we keep our registers and a calculator that has seen better days. It is mostly about moving goods in and out. We spend our mornings talking to drivers and checking the manifests to see what arrived from the distributors. There is a bit of a yard outside where the trucks park, and it gets quite muddy when the weather turns. We don't have much in the way of decoration, just some old calendars on the wall and a few fans to move the heavy air around. It is a practical place where we focus on getting the orders right and making sure the inventory matches what is in the books. The work is mostly manual, moving boxes and counting stock, but it keeps us busy from morning until late evening.
