Kachirayil Treders

Kachirayil Treders is situated in a place called Thomaattuchaal in Wayanad. If you know this part of the country, you know it is very green and can get incredibly rainy during the monsoon. We are a local business and we mostly deal with people from around the area. The atmosphere here is very different from the cities. It is much slower and more personal. We know most of the people who walk through our doors by name. Our building is simple and reflects the way we do things. We do not have any big advertisements or flashy signs. Most of our days are spent checking the stock and talking to the farmers or locals who stop by for trade. Sometimes the mist rolls in so thick you can barely see the road outside. It is a beautiful place to work, even if the logistics of getting things delivered up into the hills of Wayanad can be a headache sometimes. We just focus on being fair and making sure we have what people need when they need it. There is no corporate ladder here, just us trying to make a living in Thomaattuchaal. We have been here long enough that we are part of the landscape. It is a quiet life, but we prefer it that way compared to the hustle of the larger towns.
