You can find us at the godown in Khasra Number 342, on the ground floor in Sultanpur. It is not your typical office, but since we do a lot of design and build work, having a warehouse space makes a lot more sense for us. We have got tools and materials stacked up, and there is usually a layer of sawdust on everything. Arquite Design & Build is about getting our hands dirty. We spend our mornings looking at designs and the rest of the day actually putting things together. Sultanpur is a busy hub for this kind of stuff, so we feel right at home among the other workshops. It is loud and busy, but we get things done. We don't spend money on fancy furniture for ourselves; we’d rather have better equipment. Sometimes the roof leaks a little when it rains heavy, but we just move the desks and keep going. We are a small group of people who just like building things. We don't have a receptionist or anyone to make coffee for us. If you come by, you’ll probably find us wearing work clothes and looking at some sketches on a piece of plywood. It is a simple way of working, but it works for us. We focus on the physical work and making sure the structures we build are sturdy and look the way they were supposed to in the first place.
