Choudhary Stone

Our yard is in the Sujangarh Industrial Area. If you look for the big water tank, we are right across from it. It's a handy way to tell people where to go because the street names here can get confusing. The wind out here in Sujangarh is no joke. It blows the sand around, and you end up cleaning the stone every time someone wants to look at it. We deal in all sorts of stone. Some of it is rough for outside walls and some is smoother for floors. We have a couple of saws that we keep running as much as the power allows. Electricity can be a bit hit or miss, which is frustrating when you have a deadline. My family has been doing this for a while. We aren't a big company with a marketing department. It’s just us working the yard. We have some local guys who help with the heavy lifting and the loading. It’s physically demanding work, especially when the temperature goes up. We spend a lot of time checking the edges of the stone to make sure they aren't chipped. When customers come by, we usually just walk them through the piles. We don't have a showroom. You see the stone exactly as it is, sitting out in the open. It’s a simple way of doing business, but it’s how things work around here in the industrial area. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but once they see the water tank, they know they’ve arrived.
