We are located at No. 5 on Maraimalaiadigalar Street in Subramaniapuram. It is right near the Safiya Theatre, so most people find us pretty easily. We make and sell sports clothes. The shop is full of jerseys and track pants. You can hear the sewing machines humming in the back room most of the time. It is a busy little street and the noise from the theatre crowds sometimes spills over into our shop. We do not have a big fancy storefront. It is just a regular shop where we stack the clothes on shelves. We have been here for a long time. People from the local teams come in to get their kits made. We talk about the local matches and who is playing well this season. It is a friendly atmosphere. We do not have any corporate rules. We just work until the orders are finished. Sometimes we stay late when there is a big tournament coming up. The fabric rolls take up a lot of space, so you have to watch your step when you walk in. We just enjoy making clothes that people actually use. It is a simple business. We know our regulars by name. If you are walking past the Safiya Theatre, you cannot miss us. We are just a local shop trying to make decent gear for the folks around here. We keep our heads down and stay busy with the needles.
